This site is under construction (I should say constantly under construction) so some features may be disabled or missing.  Any questions just use one of the contact forms and send me an email.  I have moved the Arcade from the main site server to the portal server and added some new games. Click on the portal button to go to the Portal Server

Additional site infrastructure updates are coming! In addition to the hardware updates (check the server tab for specifics) The old site will be updated (finally) for a new look and feel - the final decision is whether to make the site all FLEX-based or just use FLEX components as needed.  All these questions need to be answered between completing projects for clients.

The PORTAL  server is currently off-line until further notice.  I am doing some re-configuration work (pretty extensive) in anticipation of the addition of the new development servers

I have my new laptop - go it about one month ago. This frees up some hardware for a new server. Right now, I am busy moving software off the old workstation to the laptop (boy!! A lot of software) and hopefully the new server will be up and running soon.

I finally got PHP updated from PHP 4 to PHP 5 and at the same time, updated the database server to MySQL 5 on the internet server -More updates are planned for future dates.

The portal server hardware/software is being updated - a new server is in the works (a faster server with more memory) and I hope to have it installed within the next six weeks (it takes time! I need a new workstation first!) - The new server OS will be a flavor of Windows Server 2003 or later.  The mail gateway hardware is being updated and two new development servers will appear on the internal network - one will be LINUX based and the other will be Windows based - definitely needed!

I finally purchased a new laptop, which will act as my primary workstation. I am now in the process of moving files from the old workstation to the new laptop. Once that is completed, and the old workstation is backed up, it will become a new Windows server. The old Windows server will be dedicated as a LINUX server running PHP and MySQL (LAMP).

 

Site News

This will be the site "To Do" List - Just a list of things  I that need to get done on the site.

1. User Log In System - The system will not, at this time, allow for system login for the general public but on an "as allowed" basis.  This will be implemented as soon as I finish the code for the user system. Completed
2. Implement a template based graphic design for the web site.  This will allow me to separate the design aspects of the site from the programming code and from the site content. I got tired of changing the site look only to trash something in the content or having to delete and re-create programming code.  Completed
